Patch six is officially live for all Dead Island 2i players. This Dead Island 2 update has been much anticipated since its announcement back in August as it brings the arrival of New Game Plus alongside an additional game mode, Neighborhood Watch. New Game Plus is available to players who have beaten the main campaign and lets them take on an extra difficult version of the game with no level cap. When starting a New Game Plus, a Slayer's level, inventory, and Skill Cards will transfer over, and it is recommended that players reach level 30 before diving into this extra difficult mode.
Alongside adding in New Game Plus, this patch for Dead Island 2 also brings the arrival of the Neighborhood Watch mode. This mode is a three-player co-op mode that mixes rogue-like elements with new shelter defense mechanics.
