I’ve always thought that the best use of the WOL space would be a STEM/Robotics pavilion. Make Baymax the mascot and add a Big Hero 6 simulator where Body Wars was. Use the Cranium Command theaters for M&Gs or a space to demo some of WDI’s latest tech. Fill the atrium with tons of interactive exhibits themed to the different characters from Big Hero 6.

This way we use Disney IP to educate and inspire the next generation while staying true to the concepts of EPCOT.

add wall-e and ill vote for you

It would be disappointing to see a modified version of Awesome Planet introduced especially since it's a small show that reaches a smaller audience than most attractions and experiences at Epcot. Can't see it making that much of an impact

It's that small audience that's the main problem though the subject matter (and tone in how it's presented) is seemingly part of the problem. I could see them scrapping it in favor of IP.

He can show up too.
Even though I’d rather see him in Tomorrowland.

Then Wall-E goes to Tomorrowland and both Big Hero 6 and Inside Out share Wonders of Life, although I prefer each IP has it's own personal location!* Epcot has a parking lot space with the Wall-E name.

~12 small interactive activities. The monorail simulator thing, a scavenger hunt type thing, Wii games (lol), Animation Academy, list goes on. It was just going to be an indoor digital children's playground, like Image Works and late era Innoventions with a heavy dose of screens and IP slop poured into it.

This sounds like an incredibly stupid idea when the park has already repeatedly suffered from things becoming outdated too quickly.

Two Epcot arcades that aren't anything special tech-wise anymore isn't enough?

Wall-E parking lot signage... there's a reason he's there. I can't imagine it was randomly pulled out of a hat. Still not sold on Wonders/Health yet as great as that team up would be in that space. I've a feeling Inside Out is destined for another location.

Should we be scared?

To paraphrase Knuckles, one million percent chance its a IP pavilion IF they ever reopen it.

I would so happy to be wrong and I would love to see the Rhine river and Fuji attractions but I also know these will NEVER happen because if folks are on attractions they can't purchase $5 to $12 food samples from the food booths during the year round food festivals in EPCOT.

There is a glimmer of hope, they may spend the millions and millions to build Rhine river
and Fuji attractions since they can then sell LLPPs for them which is FREE MONEY EPCOT - New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life (11)

the tangled ride from tokyo would happen there before rhine river ever-never sees the light of day.

That wont last forever, my point was someday that would happen before they were to ever revist the rhine river concept.

But if they changed it around could they get around any exclusivity agreement? We already have Rupunzel's tower at the Tangled Toilets... A second Rapunzel's tower at WDW would be ridiculous... I cannot for the life of me figure out why they couldn't bring back the idea of a Rhine River Cruise...and have nods to the fairy tales whose origins go back to Germany...as a way of adding some Ip references...but still about Germany... They could actually pull a few more German Fairy Tales that are not current films in....and create park-specific IP as well... A German train ride across the countryside with little Ip placement along the way? Get a sponsorship with Lehmann Grosse Bahn (LGB Toy Trains) which they also used to sell in their gift shop there... There really needs to be an actual ride in that area of World Showcase....

Anyone wish the Thames river cruise and London cityscape concept came back for The UK. I love the UK as is but that was another concept with a boat ride experience!

I know the Rhine river will never happen. I was just thinking today with LL, any and all new builds will be built to sell LL.

It’s possible they build a different tangled ride but that one will never come to the us now I know this won’t happen because we already have mine train but I would like to see a boat ride based off the original Snow White ride

All the more reason why they should put a Tangled attraction next to the toilets. The armchair Imagineering community has oft-suggested the relocation of "small world" to Epcot... so why not move it to the Germany Pavilion? The dolls and facade would work within the thematic trope of the German cuckoo clockmaker. The trick would be in keeping the concept mostly the same, though not impossible. It'd do wonders for MK. New net gain attractions, Tangled ride, new footpath, etc.

It's a Small World: A Time for Unity

Experience the intricate harmony of global timekeeping through the eyes of a master German clockmaker. This reimagined classic transforms the beloved "it's a small world" into a celebration of cultural craftsmanship, while maintaining the essence of international unity that defined the original. Time as a Universal Language.

Sponsored by the German National Tourist Board and renowned clock manufacturer Rombach & Haas

Queue Experience

  • Guests enter through an elaborate mechanical workshop facade inspired by traditional Black Forest architecture
  • Interactive displays showcase various timekeeping mechanisms and clock-making techniques
  • Period-appropriate tools and half-finished clocks line the walls, creating an immersive atmosphere

European Precision

  • German clockmakers crafting intricate cuckoo clocks
  • Swiss watchmakers at work in their mountain workshops
  • French horologists assembling delicate pocket watches

Asian Timekeeping

  • Japanese artisans creating temple bells
  • Chinese astronomers studying celestial movements
  • Indian craftsmen fashioning water clocks

Americas & Beyond

  • Native American sundial makers
  • Brazilian carnival celebrations marking time
  • Australian Aboriginal artists painting time-based stories

Musical Elements

  • Clockwork chimes punctuate the rhythm
  • Tick-tock percussion weaves through verses
  • Each region adds its unique time-measuring instruments
  • Grand finale features synchronized clock strikes from around the world

New Technical Innovations

  • Projection mapping simulates intricate clock mechanisms

Artistic Integration

  • The original Mary Blair aesthetic intertwined with carvings
  • Traditional clockwork elements
  • Geometric patterns
  • Rich wood tones reminiscent of antique clocks
